Mary Beth Balch

Mary Beth Balch, a Green Bay artist, enjoys creating whimsical, and quirky Raku’d fired ceramic pieces as well as functional dinnerware. Inspired on walks, travel and animals from her past and present, she will try and create it out of clay. One of her favorite items to create are her Story Buildings, she gives you the character and you come up with the story. The buildings give her the opportunity to create almost everything that she comes across, everything that makes her smile.

Mary Beth recieved a certificate in ceramics and has had her art shown at Richeson School of Art and Gallery, Nevill Museum, Artless Bastard, Art Connective where she recieved honorable mention on her piece ‘ We Will Make Room’ and most recently the Weidner Center.

Mary Beth is currently exploring on mixed media, fine tuning her wood burning, glass fused pieces and adding found objects to her creations.

Mary Beth donates her proceeds to charities close to her heart.

When not in her studio, Mary Beth spends time with her husband Richard, walking their dog Raku or traveling to visit their 3 sons.
