Miwako “Binky” Heverly

A ceramist in Green Bay. In her pottery, Miwako pursues simple understated beauty, appreciation of nature and joy of the moment - a Japanese traditional art aesthetics she is inspired and influenced by. She conveys peaceful and nostalgic notions to her pieces with organic elements and subdued colors. She also pays attention to functionality and tactile comfort to her pieces for pleasure in using them in everyday life.

She is also a member of Green Bay Art Colony. She has exhibited her works at Neville Museum, Mulva Culturural Center and Museum of Wisconsin Art. She has her pieces at Cappaert Contemporary Gallery in Egg Harbor, and participated in various art shows in Wisconsin.
